Keurig Dr Pepper Marks Milestones and Highlights Steady Progress in 2024 Impact Report
BURLINGTON, Mass. and FRISCO, Texas, June 18, 2025 – Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. (NASDAQ: KDP) today announced the publication of its 2024 Impact Report. The annual report highlights progress made toward its environmental and social impact commitments across seven key impact areas: Climate & Nature Action; Water Use & Stewardship; Packaging & Circular Economy; Human Rights, Responsible Sourcing & Supply Chain Livelihoods; Consumer Health & Well-Being; Employee Health, Safety & Well-Being and Corporate Governance & Ethics.
“This year’s report highlights our efforts to create positive impact through company actions and partnerships,” said Tim Cofer, Chief Executive Officer. “Every day as our team delivers the beverages and experiences that have earned the love and trust of our consumers, they also champion our purpose, Drink Well. Do Good.”
Notable progress from KDP’s 2024 Impact Report includes:
- Building Sustainable Supply Chains: KDP delivered on its commitment to responsible sourcing, reporting 100% responsibly sourced coffee and cocoa in 2024[1] for the fourth consecutive year for coffee and the third consecutive year for cocoa. The Company was also named the largest buyer of Fair Trade USA certified coffee for its owned and partner brands.
- Delivering Positive Hydration Products: One year ahead of schedule, KDP achieved its goal to provide positive hydration in 60% of its products in the U.S. by 2025. The Company’s investments in innovation, renovation and partnerships resulted in more product choices and a 7% reduction in added sugar across KDP’s U.S. Refreshment Beverages since 2020.
- Implementing Climate and Nature Action: KDP achieved its 2024 goal to engage bottlers and select suppliers representing 50% of Scope 3 emissions to set a science-based target. The Company is also strengthening its own 2030 emissions-reductions targets, validated by the Science-Based Target initiative. KDP additionally attained the halfway point of its nature-focused goal to support regenerative agriculture and conservation on 250,000 acres of land by 2030, a milestone of over 129,000 acres.
- Advancing a Circular Economy: KDP unveiled its new K-Rounds plastic- and aluminum-free pods and a new brewing system, the Keurig Alta brewer. KDP continued to make steady progress towards its sustainable packaging goals by designing 96% of its packaging to be recyclable or compostable in 2024 and reducing its virgin plastic use by 17% since 2019.
- Partnering for Water Replenishment: KDP collaborated with nonprofits and other industry partners on projects in its highest water-risk operating communities, so that by 2030, the Company is targeting to replenish 100% of water used in its beverages. In 2024, KDP achieved 66% replenishment, an increase from 55% in 2023.
- Investing in People and Communities: KDPsupported community engagement through partnerships and employee volunteerism, including activation of its multi-year community impact partnership with the American and Canadian Red Cross organizations. The Company also prioritized its efforts to provide rich and meaningful career experiences and to foster an engaging and inclusive culture for its team of top beverage talent.
As many of the company’s public goals are coming due in 2025, KDP is taking a thoughtful approach to its future commitments, discussed in detail throughout the report. In addition to strengthening its 2030 emissions-reductions targets, KDP will continue to support climate and nature action efforts with partnerships and value chain investments for regenerative agriculture, conservation and water stewardship. While operational, supply chain and infrastructure conditions have challenged water use efficiency and certain packaging goals coming due in 2025, the company remains committed to action in these key areas. Sustainable packaging efforts for KDP will continue to focus on the advancement of collection policy in the U.S. and Canada and the reduction of virgin plastic use whereas water use efficiency efforts will emphasize areas of highest water risk.
“We remain dedicated to action, impact and continuous improvement – adapting our approach as the landscape evolves and we learn from our work and our partners,” said Monique Oxender, Chief Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer. “Our approach aims to balance new compliance requirements, market realities and stakeholder expectations, while continuing to focus on those areas where we can uniquely make a difference.”
