KDP Adds More Ways to Hydrate with Dyla Acquisition

Consumer interest in enhanced hydration continues to gain momentum. According to survey data highlighted in Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP)’s recent 2025 State of Beverage report, 59% of Americans rate ‘new flavors’ as the winning attribute that motivates new beverage trial and 60% of Americans are interested in trying flavored water with added antioxidants and vitamins.

In support of that demand, KDP recently acquired full ownership of Dyla Brands, a key player in the powdered drink mix and liquid water enhancer business.  KDP has held a minority stake in Dyla since 2017 and is now bringing the brand fully into its portfolio.

Nate Champagne, Vice President and General Manager of Juice, Snacks and Mixes at Keurig Dr Pepper noted: “This acquisition provides KDP with a turn-key platform to immediately capitalize on the growing demand for functional, trend-forward and on-the-go beverage enhancers and drink mixes — leveraging Dyla-owned brands, KDP’s existing portfolio, and licensed third-party brands.”

Dyla sells more than 1.5 billion drink mix servings annually. Its existing lineup includes the #1 natural water enhancer without artificial flavors or sweeteners, STUR, as well as licensed offerings under KDP-owned trademarks including Crush, Hawaiian Punch, 7UP and Snapple. Dyla also has existing partnerships with third-party brands such as Dole, Ocean Spray and C4, which will continue under KDP’s new ownership. This acquisition complements the Company’s existing GHOST® functional powders business, creating a broader and more integrated offering for consumers seeking convenient and customizable ways to enhance their hydration routine.

Whether you’re looking to boost your water with vitamins, electrolytes or refreshing infusions, KDP now has even more flavorful options for you to stay hydrated.
